New Work for Concert Band

Hosts of the Association of Concert Bands Convention 2010, the Plano Community Band has commissioned David Kneupper for a new work celebrating this event. The commissioned piece will premiere at the Convention's closing concert on April 17, 2010. |

Lubbock Centennial Closing Concert
Lubbock, TX
2009 marks the 100th Anniversary of the city of Lubbock, TX, home of David Kneupper's alma mater, Texas Tech University. A March 28th concert hosted by Lubbock native Mac Davis completed a year-long celebration of this historic anniversary. David conducted his West Texas Suite, commissioned by the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra in commemoration of their 60th Anniversary and the Lubbock Centennial. |

Attraction and Ride Films
Jon Corfino of Attraction Media and Entertainment tapped David Kneupper to adapt the music and sound from the hit film Journey to the Center of the Earth for both a motion-based ride film and a 4D attraction film. These adaptations are opening in a variety of park locations in the US, Europe and Asia. |

Airspeed podcast
Steve Tupper hosts Airspeed a blog and podcast dedicated to joys and thrills of aviation. Steve became interested in David Kneupper's music during a trip to the Apollo/Saturn V Center at the Kennedy Space Center, and invited David to be a guest. His Airspeed podcast is a far-flung discussion of the music of the Apollo Center, David's aviation background as a pilot, and his strong family ties to the US space program. |
